How to Swap Heads in Photoshop
In family portrait photography it’s sometimes difficult to get a shot where everyone in the family is looking, or has their best smile. Head swapping is a beautiful thing about photoshop that people sometimes tend to complicate. There’s no need to meticulously lasso around the head or use a magic want tool and try to cut the head out of one picture and drag it on to another picture only to find out you now have a double head, or you don’t have it exactly right.
This quick and easy method of swapping out a head using layers and masks will save you tons of time. I highly reccomend you learn more about layers and masks to do EVERYTHING in photoshop because it makes everything so much faster and easier. You can learn these tricks and more in our Photoshop Tutorial Training Program.
